Stanley and Me

I haven't posted in a while and people are getting antsy so I thought I'd take time out of my very busy and extremely hectic schedule to inform everyone on all my seriously important business. First off I'd like to mention that I have a visitor staying with me for a couple weeks. His name is Stanley but I like to call him Stan the Man sometimes because he's really easy to get along with and never complains. In fact he helped me with clearing my driveway this morning which was a chore. Which leads me to the next thing I thought I'd mention. When we woke up this morning I was afraid that we had somehow been taken up in a tornado and dumped in northern Canada but when we came to, we were relieved to find all that had happened was that half of Alaska's supply of snow had been dumped on us. So we spent basically half the day shoveling snow at my place and at some neighbor's.

In other news, I've been practicing and performing in the Akron and Erie Symphonys and have been taking auditions and teaching violin lessons. Besides this I spend my time studying in the Bible (Philippians right now) and studying Greek. I'm almost done with Basics of Biblical Greek (only two chapters to go) and have really enjoyed the things I've learned.

I've been reticent to post more frequently because 1) telling you people what I'm doing does not aid in accomplishing what I'm doing and 2) I would probably just post the last paragraph over and over again.

If I can think of anything else to post that could be interesting I'll consider thinking about it.

Lots of snow!

After one pass from the snow blower.

Stanley was a little worried about the woodburning stove.

Hey Davis, glad to see you've got new post up. Looks like a LOT of snow. We got about 5 inches here. By the way, who is Stanley anyways?

Davis,

You're making Tisara's "major snow day" look pretty puny.

Praying for you in regard to Sunday.

Carl

Nice to hear from you again Davis! Sounds like you're keeping a busy schedule. That's good. We got some snow down here as well, but not quite as much as you guys did--only about 4-5 inches.

Hope all continues to go well!

His full name is Flat Stanley and he was sent to me by niece Hannah. I thought the picture and the link would explain who he was.
