Ron Paul doesn't have a chance at all to win the presidency. If you want to check out a real candidate with real values, check out Hillary Clinton. You won't be disappointed.

I actually really like a lot that Ron Paul has to say--especially about limiting government and being strictly constitutional. He has a lot of good things to say that I'm glad are getting so much publicity.

I don't know all that much about him, but I think he has a serious hole in his thinking when it comes to gay marriage and prostitution and such moral issues. He seems to view them purely as individual decisions which do no affect others--ie, just personal choices. I see this as a major problem because I think such behavior is destructive to society as a whole (over time). Seen that way, I think the government has every right to legislate against things like prostitution and gay marriage for the benefit of maintaining a healthy society.
