I'm Still Breathing
As you can see I am not a slave to my blog but I did think I should write at least one post in the month of October.
The main reason I haven't posted anything is because nothing really interesting has happened. I've just been practicing, teaching a little violin, observing violin lessons for my Susuki Ped. class, playing some board games every-once-in-a-while, and (maybe the most interesting thing) I've been learning Biblical Greek (Koine Greek). I'm learning it with a friend which makes it much more motivating knowing you can talk about what you're learning with someone and also you have a sense of accountability. We study on our own and get together once a week to test each other and go over our translations. We've just started chapter 8 of William Mounce's Basics of Biblical Greek. I think it's really well organized and thought out and I'm enjoying it very much.
I've really just been focusing on practicing for my December recital which I think will be Friday the 16th. Once I'm done with that I'll focus on orchestra auditions.
